Defining the Essential Question

(1) What is your EQ?
What is most important for being a Registered Nurse?

(2) Define the words in your EQ to make sure we are on the same page regarding what your EQ means.
Most- The greatest factor
Important- Of great significance or value pertaining a RN

(3) What are some possible answers to your EQ so far?
·         What is most important for being a RN is the type of education one receives and the types of nursing programs they’ve taken
·         What is most important for being a RN is certain qualities a person must have
·         What is most important for being a RN is the determination and willingness they must have in order to care for their patients

(4) What has been your most important source and why?  Be specific.  If it is a person, name them and what they do, if it is an article, book or video, name the title and author.
My most important source was a article (http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos083.htm) about Registered Nurses. In this article it described their Basic Job Description, the different types of RNs specializing in type of treatment, disease, body system, Training qualifications needed, Job outlook and the salary they make. I found this to be my most important source because it helped me understand what a RN does day to day and what is needed in order to become one.
